Facebook is the leader in advertising and has more money to spend than any other platform, according to new data.
The social network spent more than $3 billion in 2016 on ads, according the most recent figures from ad tracker Adweek.
Facebook also had the most advertising revenue in the U.S. in 2016, with $2.3 billion.
The company also took in more than twice as much in ad revenue as Apple, Google, Amazon and Twitter.
Facebook was ranked No. 3 in ad spend among the top 200 online advertisers last year, ahead of Netflix, Amazon, and Netflix in the rankings.
It has $4.2 billion in ad revenues this year, up 8% from 2016.
Facebook is spending more on advertising than any of the top five online advertisers.
The growth is especially important for Facebook, which was the biggest beneficiary of the global tech bubble and its rapid rise in popularity.
Advertiser demand for Facebook ads has surged to more than 40 billion per month in the last year alone, and the platform has had to spend more on ads than any online retailer in the past year.
Facebook reported last week that its ads accounted for more than 90% of its overall ad spend.
Adweek notes that Facebook is also the largest online retailer on Amazon.com, which is another major market for advertisers.
Google’s ad spend is also rising, as it has become more dominant in the ad market.
The company spent $3.1 billion on advertising last year and is spending $3 trillion on ad spend in 2018, according a report from the Kantar Media/Adweek.
Google also has a strong presence in the online shopping space, where its YouTube and Android apps have been popular.
Adweek estimates that Google is spending about $6 billion on ads in 2018.
Amazon, Apple, Amazon.co.uk and eBay also have significant digital presence.
Amazon has been one of the most active online retailers, taking in more money than Apple, Facebook, Google and Twitter combined.
Amazon has $6.9 billion in total revenue, up 10% from the previous year.
Amazon’s revenue rose to $7.5 billion in 2017, according with the Kantars survey.
eBay, which lost nearly $3bn in 2017 due to Amazon’s acquisition of Whole Foods, is also spending big on ads.
Its ad spend grew to $3,000 per person in 2018 from $1,600 in 2017.
Google is the biggest advertiser in the United States, with more than half of its ad spend coming from Google.
Google’s total ad spending grew by 17% to $6,500 per person.
Amazon also has more than one billion unique visitors a day.
